Workplace Essentials is the one stop shop for office furnishings, equipment and service for anyone who wants business done their way.
Our customers value Workplace Essentials as a full-service boutique for office furniture and equipment. We serve clientele all over Nova Scotia and our presence is felt in the hospitality, health care, office and institutional fields. Our team has expertise in all of these areas and our staff provides a large technical representation for all of our products and services. Our technicians, who service any piece of equipment we sell, are located all over the province and are reliable and knowledgeable as they provide prompt and efficient customer service. The Workplace Essentials team doesn't only deal with office equipment and furniture, our staff are also experts in providing total and custom document solutions, which can help a company of any size substantially reduce their costs and provide benefits for administration.
At its very core, Workplace Essentials is about one thing – the customer. While many of our competitors are shareholder-driven and focused on expanding their stores and bottom-line profits, Workplace Essentials is a family-owned, customer-driven business, providing a consultative, customer-focused approach with solutions tailored specifically to the customer’s needs - so that they can meet their bottom lines. The key to customer focus is flexibility and choice - from consultation, to products and sales, delivery, timeframes and options for billing and services – all when and where you need it. The result? Our customers get exactly what they need for the price they can afford. Customer focus dictates how Workplace Essentials operates and continues to grow and serve our customers. While larger competitors continue to reduce staff and services, we are constantly strengthening our business infrastructure in order to better serve our customers. The customer is our bottom line.

Workplace Essentials has been strong and proud supporters of community groups and organizations for almost half a century.
Our commitment to supporting Nova Scotia has extended from health care and schools to sports, culture, recreation and community service organizations.
We have just responded to a need in our local community at an organization called Open Arms. Their mandate is helping with the basic needs of our neighbours by providing physical, mental and spiritual support to the community. On hearing of their need for cots for children that board with them on a temporary basis, we knew we needed to help and were able to donate nap cots for their use.

Evangeline Child Care Centre is a non profit daycare that has been in operation for over 40 years. The centre accommodates up to 40 children at a time, providing them with a safe and fun environment in which to learn and grow. Our installer, Charlie Henderson, dropped off 40 nap cots so that the children that attended the daycare would not have to use mats on the floor. We are proud to support such a great local daycare.

April has been working in early childhood education for over 30 years and is very passionate about it. In addition, she has been providing home childcare for 10.5 of those years. We are proud to provide 4 cots to April's Place and to the children she cares for. We are proud to support such a great local childcare.
